GUITAR Lessons AND COVID-19

Upon re-opening for one to one tuition, String Fingers will be ready to receive and teach students in line with the latest covid-related guidelines as described below.

[Risk Assessment]

A risk assessment of the premises has been carried out to identify and minimize potential risk. The guidelines in place have been advised by The Musicians' Union.

[Cleaning]

All areas, including the entrance way, the teaching area, bathroom facilities and all touch points will be thoroughly cleaned regularly. A bin will be provided near the student.

[Social Distancing and Ventilation]

Small adjustments have been made to allow for a space of 2 metres between teacher and student. A window will be open in the teaching area to allow for increased ventilation.

[Mask Wearing and Hand Sanitizing]

The teacher will only wear a mask at the student's request throughout the course of the lesson. Hand Sanitizer will be made available for students to use.

[Equipment Advice]

Students are advised to bring their own instrument but there will be others on site available for students to play.

[Arrival and Departure Times]

Students' lesson times will be set so that they don't cross paths with other students unnecessarily. Students will be advised to arrive on time rather than early and lessons will end at the arranged times.

[Communication]

Any particular information relating to Covid measures useful to students coming for their lessons will be provided to them prior to their lesson times. Students are encouraged to voice any concerns they may have as soon as possible, ideally before they come for their lessons.
