I’m a guitarist/singer/song-writer/teacher.
I’ve been playing guitar seriously since I was 15. I
never gave up and I’ve never stopped learning new things
because I love music. I always wanted to write my own music
since being a teenager and one day my dad found that out and
showed me his guitar. From then on, that was it, I was hooked.
Over the years since I’ve performed at multiple venues,
jammed with various bands and musicians and currently, aside
from teaching, my main musical goal is to record the songs
I’ve wrote over the years.
Me and my wife’s spare room has now
been labelled the music room as it's where I have my mini
home studio, my guitars, keyboard and my computer-based guitar
rig. That is to say where I plug my electric guitars and electro-acoustic
guitars into and produce some weird and wonderful sounds.
As for musical taste I enjoy all sorts
of genres and anything that makes me think about music in
new and inviting ways. I started off playing other people's
songs but have developed my own styles and tastes over time.
I especially like playing my own tunes. And quite rightly
so I think, music is not only something to play or listen
to, it’s a way to express yourself. As you learn to play
an instrument and make music, you might just find out something
new about yourself and may want to express that musically.
I love to teach. Playing is a buzz in itself
but watching as someone gets better and better because you’ve
guided them along is a very satisfying experience. If you
